Boarding is at the very heart of what makes The GitaRam approach to boys’ and girls’ education unique.

* Our five main Houses are called
1) NiveditaBhawan (for Girls XI-XII)
2) RamMohanBhawan for Boys
3) NetajiBhawan for Boys
4) SibajiBhawan for Boys
5) AzadBhawan for Boys

Approximately 25-30 students resides in each main house.

* Good pastoral care at the GitaRam school campus is central to every individual boy’s and girl’s (XI & XII) intellectual, spiritual and emotional development.

* We have a comprehensive life skills program for students in each year group. This program is supported by a tutorial system and one-to-one guidance by special teacher.

* Every house is run by house master, house assistant master and a team of tutors. The house experience forms the backbone of a student’s life at TheGitaRam school campus.

* We operate a traditional seven-day boarding schedule with an academic timetable with lessons from Monday to Saturday inclusive. Saturday and Sunday is reserved for outings, activities and opportunities for people to catch up with themselves.

* The pastoral support network here also includes a confidential and free counseling service for any hostel, who needs extra help, as well as an exceptional wellness centre which is very much in the heart of the school and offers 24-hours care for all boys and girls.

* We have created an environment of mutual respect between the teacher and the taught in which every hosteller’s health and welfare are of paramount importance.

* The discipline system is firm and rigorous but based on the principles of natural justice and fairness, there is zero to brace of bullying.
